I would like to share with you a little about myself. I grew up in Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved in to Florida since 2006. I’m the happy mother of 2 amazing children. I graduated from Florida International University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and have over 15 years of combined experience in Education and Human Resources in transnational companies implementing Learning & Development Programs, and engaging diverse audience groups. As a teacher, I have worked with various age groups teaching all subjects and chess in elementary, middle school, high school, and college. (i.e. American School of Guayaquil, Jefferson School, Blue Hill College, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Cambridge School, Franklin Academy Charter School, and The Sagemont School).
I developed a love for the game of chess since I was 9 and started competing internationally representing my home country of Ecuador in Pan-American, South American and World Chess Championships around 11 countries in America and Europe. The friends and memories I made while playing chess in my childhood and teenage years, I hold dear and cherish to this day as one of the most valuable formational experience I was blessed to have. In my free time, I also like to play ping-pong, board games, and travel.
